Initial Cards

A while back I posted a picture of some cards that I made for the women in my small group. The night finally came for me to give them out and I was so happy because they all seemed to love them. Actually the guys wanted to know why I hadn't made them anything. I'll have to work on that one.
Anyway here are some of the individual pics of the cards with some direction on how I did them. They really are easy to make. If you like to scrapbook, have a cricut, or a silhouette you can do this.
First is my N they were for Nicole. Nicole is crafty, has a critical eye, and a great blog. I was hoping she would really like hers.
All cards are 5 1/2* 4 1/4 this size is easy because you can get 2 cards out of 1 piece of 8 1/2*11 paper or have extra scraps to use for something else if you use 12*12 paper.

The card paper was from a pack I think it was called songbird but not really sure (sorry). The square behind was Bazzill Cardstock in light blue, the shadow for the N was also from the songbird pack it's a pretty glittery green, and the N was from Bazzill Cardstock in passionate. The N was cut from my cricut using the George and Basic Shapes cartridge. I hole punched the corner took some pretty green ribbon(that I already had) and tied it in a knot. I already had all products so these gifts cost me nothing when I made them.
Next is the K for Kim. Kim is a fun pediatric nurse that has a beautiful home. She deserved some bling. She just has that air about her.

For the card I used 2 different papers from My Minds Eye from the Lost and Found line Portobello Road "family" brocade paper and Portobello Road "you and me" dearest glittered paper. The K was done in a light blue and brown from Me & My Big IDEAS kay-autumn paper pad and cut from the George and Basic shapes cricut cartridge the K was also mounted on chipboard to make it more substantial. The swirl was done in brown from the same paper as the K and cut from The Wild Card cricut cartridge. The pearls and crystals were from Prima Marketing.
That's all the details I'll give but here are the rest of the individual pictures of the rest of the cards.
Adhesive used for large items was a spray adhesive. The adhesive for the smaller things was a Xyron sticker maker.
T for Teri Jo a hilarious southern hairdresser with a wicked strong accent and big hair.

W is for Wendy. Wendy is kinda funky and very spunky. She is willing to try anything so that's why I used wire on hers.

Last but certainly not least is GRC the monogram for Chris. Chris is not real soft and definitely not fussy thats why her cards are a straightforward monogram with distressed edges.

Hope you enjoyed!

These are all so pretty! I thought you did a great job making them "match" each person.
Thanks again for the cards!
I always love your cards! They are my favorite staple around the home. :)
These are really cute. I love giving people homemade cards and especially something that is so personal.
